We recently just wrapped up a very cool remix that we are quite proud of, and we would love for you to check it out and share it around. One of the things that is so cool about this remix is how it came about, being that the Scottish band, Tango In The Attic, somehow knew about Inspired Flight and liked us enough to reach out to us about doing it. This is somewhat of a first for iF, and is especially cool because I have such a love for melodic, indie rock music from the UK. Getting to do a proper remix for such a band, and of such a good song with great elements for remixing, was definitely a treat, and we had a lot of fun doing it! Another great thing about this remix is that they decided to use it for a lot of their current promotion, rather than use their own version right now, which we take to be a real honor. They must not think it sucks… Sadly we’ve never met the Tango In The Attic guys, but apparently someone involved with their band, I think with management, saw iF perform at SXSW in 2011, and that’s how they got hipped to us in the first place. Having done a remix for them now that we are so proud of, and that we even have began performing live at our own shows, we would love to actually meet these dudes. I’m sure it’s a matter of time until our paths do cross and we find ourselves sharing a pint and some big laughs, but until then we are bonded by this musical collaboration, and I think I can safely say for all of us that we would love for you to listen. Cheers!
